Creature Comforts Cardi from MadelineTosh. There are TWO versions of this pattern; one with a cable panel down the center back, (instructions begin on pattern page 2) and one in plain stockinette stitch (instructions begin on pattern page 4) only. You also have the option of working pockets as you go, or of adding them wherever you wish after the piece is complete.

Gauge: 18 sts x 24 rows = 4” (10 cm) in stockinette stitch

Finished Measurements: XS (S, M, L, XL) to fit bust measurements of 30-34 (34-38, 38-42, 42-46, 46-50) in, or (86.4, [91.4, 101.6, 107, 117, 122] cm); Length from nape of neck: 28.5 (29, 29.5, 30.5, 31.5)” after blocking (*Note: This sweater is meant to be worn oversized and long.)

Materials Used: Madelinetosh Vintage (100% superwash merino; 100g / 200 yds) - 5 (5, 6, 7, 8) skeins

Needle Size: US 7 (4.5 mm) 40” circular needle, US 8 (5.00 mm) set of double pointed needles, US 8 (5.00 mm) 40” circular needle or size needed to obtain gauge
