The Scent: Is there anything as strangely addictive as the scent of leather? The link between perfume and leather goes back hundreds of years and is even said by some to have marked the beginning of modern perfumery as we know it, as leather tanneries started to use perfume materials to mask the unpleasant scent of leather goods that had been produced using traditional tanning processes. The Inspiration: ‘Bottling’ the scent of leather does not involve using anything from leather or animals. Rather, our perfumers have re-created the distinguished and luxurious odor of Leather by blending natural and synthetic materials in the laboratory– so like all of our fragrances, this product is 100% vegetarian!
